ToolWorks BOM Manager provides a powerful and easy to use Custom Property and Bill-of-Material manager for SolidWorks® 3D Mechanical Design Software. Making custom property management easy and intuitive helps users to complete their design faster. ToolWorks BOM Manager is a SolidWorks Gold Certified application that offers a »single window« user interface.

The bidirectional Bill of Material editor offers the ability to manage custom properties from a top-level assembly containing subassemblies and parts. ToolWorks BOM Manager can export the SolidWorks Bill of Material to a number of common file formats like: Microsoft Excel®, eXtended Markup Language (XML) or comma-separated TXT files. ToolWorks BOM Manager is the missing link between the SolidWorks Bill of Material and external ERP/MRP system.

Changes to SolidWorks models and drawings do not update external documents. ToolWorks DocumentCreator rebuilds and updates external documents real time, and makes sure that all published documents are always up-to-date.

PDM/PLM Plugin
The process of releasing or publishing documents can be automated by using ToolWorks DocumentCreator either as a stand-alone tool or in combination with a PDM system.
