Concepts In Production, LLC is committed to provide the absolute best in software training to help our customers achieve their goals of reducing development cost and reducing time to market.  Choosing SolidWorks for your design tool is just the first step.  Making the investment in education to produce immediate results in productivity should be your next.  All classes are taught by SolidWorks Certified Professional instructors in a state-of-the-art classroom at our office in Amory, Mississippi unless otherwise indicated.

Classes are filled on a first come first served basis with a minimum of 4 people per class.  Maximum 8 people per class.

Classes for SolidWorks Essentials, SolidWorks Advanced Part and Assembly Modeling, and SolidWorks Sheet Metal are scheduled every month. (Unless otherwise noted)

Classes for SolidWorks Weldments, SolidWorks PDMWorks Workgroup, SolidWorks Drawings, SolidWorks Advanced Surface Modeling, SolidWorks Routing, API Fundamentals, SolidWorks File Management, COSMOSWorks Designer, COSMOSFloWorks, COSMOSMotion and COSMOSWorks Professional are scheduled on request.  Check Schedule below for classes and dates - if you are interested in a particular class please let us know.

SolidWorks Essentials: Parts and Assemblies 4 Days, $1300 or Night Classes 4 Nights, $1800
This course focuses on how to use the SolidWorks  mechanical design automation software to build parametric models of parts and assemblies, and how to make drawings of those parts and assemblies. 

Prerequisite: Mechanical design experience, experience with the Microsoft Windows operating system and completion of the SolidWorks tutorial.

SolidWorks Advanced Part and Assembly Modeling,4 Days, $1300 or Night Classes 4 Nights, $1800
This combination course teaches the powerful tools for advanced modeling and assembly. Advanced Part Modeling teaches how to use multibody solids, sweeping and lofting features and the more advanced shaping capabilities.  Advanced Assembly Modeling teaches how to maximize your use of the assembly modeling capabilities.

This course focuses on building sheet metal parts using SolidWorks 3D modeling software. Building standalone sheet metal parts, converting parts to sheet metal, and modeling sheet metal parts in the context of an assembly are covered.

This course is on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the successful use of PDMWorks Workgroup.  The intended audience is people who do not use SolidWorks but still manage SolidWorks files.

This course explains how to create, edit and manage Piping Tubing and Electrical routes, from the critical routing components and their design requirements to the sub-assemblies that contain the routes.

SolidWorks File Management, 1 Day, $325 (Scheduled on as needed basis)
This course teaches how to manage files within SolidWorks, explains the SolidWorks file structure, file references, file associativity, and how to manage a multi-user environment.

This course should be taken before any of the PDMWorks courses and is also ideal for any SolidWorks user not using PDMWorks.

Prerequisite: Basic experience with the SolidWorks software and general experience with Windows operating system.

COSMOSWorks Designer, 2 Days, $1600 (Scheduled on as needed basis)
This course is designed to make SolidWorks users more productive more quickly with the COSMOSWorks Designer Bundle.  It offers a comprehensive hands-on training on the applications of COSMOSWorks.  The class discusses linear stress analysis, gap/contact analysis, and best practices.  Analysis features are discussed using an integrated approach of the COSMOSWorks software from within the SolidWorks environment.  Finally, examples of parts and assemblies including those with various gap/contact conditions are reviewed.


Prerequisite: Knowledge of  SolidWorks and basic mechanical engineering concepts.

COSMOSWorks Professional, 3 Days, $2400 (Scheduled on as needed basis)

This course is designed to make SolidWorks users productive more quickly with the COSMOSWorks analysis package.  If offers a comprehensive hands-on training on the applications of COSMOSWorks.  The class provides an in-depth coverage on the basics of Finite Element analysis, covering the entire analysis process from meshing to evaluation of results for parts and assemblies.  It discusses linear stress analysis, heat transfer analysis, frequency analysis, and stability analysis based on linear buckling concepts, and pressure vessel modulus.  Many examples of parts and assemblies including those with various gap/contact conditions are reviewed.

This two-day hands-on training program provides an in-depth session on the basics of turbulent fluid flow analysis, in addition to covering meshing concerns, modeling concerns, analysis, post-processing, available options and preferences.

 

Prerequisite: Knowledge of SolidWorks and basic mechanical engineering concepts.

COSMOSMotion, 1 Days, $1000 (Scheduled on as needed basis)

The focus of this course is an in-depth session on the basics of building, simulating and refining a mechanical design system.  This course teaches you how to use COSMOSMotion simulation software to study the kinematic and dynamic behavior of your SolidWorks assembly models.

 

Prerequisite:  Basic COSMOSWorks class
